Harvest Park City

Harvest Park City, Utah – Restaurant Review

Harvest Park City Downtown Location

Harvest is located on the corner of 9th Street and Park Avenue in downtown Park City, Utah. The Town Ski Lift is conveniently right next to this trendy restaurant making for a great spot to warm up with a cup of coffee.

Harvest

Trendy Harvest Park City Breakfast Spot

Harvest is a farm-to-table breakfast and lunch spot. They love Food, People, and Coffee. Owners, Emma Worsley and Karen Mertenf believe food does not just nourish our bodies, it brings people together to converse, share ideas, reminisce, and build connections. Harvest prides itself on a magnificent cup of coffee. Many locals were stopping in for their daily cup of joe, before jetting off to work.

Building a community and bringing people hits close to home for Harvest. They support local suppliers in the Park City community by purchasing goods from their small businesses. You will find local products from Ritual Chocolate, Rimini, Park City Creamery, and Auntie Ems Bakery sold at Harvest and integrated into their dishes. You can find the full list of suppliers on any of their menus.

The interior is decorated with hip, modern, and minimal décor that invites you in. This is a great spot for a business lunch, a quick cup of coffee, or a lady’s brunch. The atmosphere is fresh and clean just like their food.

Harvest Park City Menu

The menu at Harvest Park City is influenced by healthy Australian cuisine. Head chef, Carlo Campana uses his creativity to highlight local suppliers’ fresh ingredients and fresh seasonal ingredients. Serving breakfast dishes all day, it is a perfect place to fuel up for your busy day. They pride their dishes on high-quality ingredients that are as close to their natural state as possible meaning free from any artificial additives and processing.

Each menu item may seem a bit basic but it is the way the Harvest Chefs manipulate the natural ingredients into something new and modern. Everything on their menu looks amazing, just take a peek at their photos on their website! Their dishes are vibrant, fresh, and inviting, like the Nourish Toast with smoked salmon, roasted beetroot, and soft poached egg. The menu is easy to read and dishes are clearly labeled with any dietary restrictions.

What I Ordered

Bottomless House Drip Coffee

Harvest Park City is picky about their coffee. Owners, Karen and Emma have traveled the world searching for the best coffee. They locally roast their fair-trade coffee beans and you can tell. The coffee is flavorful bold and gives you that perfect boost you need at the start of your day. This simple black coffee has some trendy aesthetics, served in a fat round mug with a small plate for any side drippings. Harvest coffee is delicious.

Harvest

Savory Toast

The Savory Toast is a fan favorite at Harvest. This dish is here to impress with toasted sourdough, herb ricotta, sautéed mushrooms, spinach, fresh avocado, and a poached egg. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. The thick sourdough bread is locally sourced from a Park City bakery and toasted to perfection.

A shmear of herb ricotta cheese is spread on top, adding some tang and creaminess to this healthy dish. It also adds a great barrier between the toasted bread and sautéed vegetables, keeping the bread from getting soggy.

The sautéed spinach and mushrooms were piled high with loads of flavor and texture. The egg was poached to perfection nestled right on top. After a light tap with the fork, the delicate egg broke open and rich yolk oozed out onto the mountain of fresh ingredients.

Harvest

Side of Bacon

A side of Bacon is on the menu for an additional cost, most of their dishes are vegetarian, so this is a great add-on. The bacon was thick and meaty, a great salty addition to the Savory Toast and Buddha Bowl. I like to have a good amount of protein with my daily meals, especially on powder ski days.

Harvest

Buddha Bowl of Goodness

brown rice, butternut pumpkin puree, oven-roasted tomatoes, fermented cabbage, pickled onions, hard-boiled egg, herb ricotta, avocado, herb salad, seeds, and miso ginger dressing

A dish that was invented on a road trip by Owner Emma and her friend, Karen. No matter where it was invited, this dish is refreshing and creative. I have never had anything like it. Each bite offered something different with a wide range of fresh ingredients from fermented cabbage to herb ricotta. A filling dish, with a huge mound of mixed herbs and greens, brown rice, pickled onions, and pumpkin puree. The miso ginger dressing ties it all together.

I will be coming back to try the (Flourless) Coconut Coffee Cake!
