The Mozart Prague Hotel Review
Location
The Mozart Prague is located in the heart of Prague 1. The hotel is in the perfect location right next to the river and a 15-minute walk to the surrounding attractions. The top floor suites offer gorgeous views of the Prague Castle and river. The reception area is open 24 hours and provides exceptional service.
A 5-Star Hotel in Prague
The Mozart Prague is a 5-Star boutique hotel with 70 rooms and suites. There are two restaurants on-site, offering meals throughout the day. The Mozart also has a salon, wellness center, and meeting spaces. The 16th-century medieval sauna is stunning with vaulted stone ceilings. There is a certain je ne sais quoi when it comes to design. The ornate fixtures and glass chandlers provide an elegant and timeless design that pays oath to the rich history. Large balconies are framed with summer flowers that overlook the courtyards.
The Mozart Prague History
This stunning 1628 building has a wealth of rich history. This historical building was designed by Count Patcha and became the Pachtuv Palace. The baroque-designed palace quickly became one of the grandest estates, hosting many lavish soirées and parties for the most prestigious groups in Prague.
In the late 1700s, Mozart stayed at the palace in the deluxe suite 213 (now The Mozart Suite). Here, he wrote his famous piece the 6 German Dances. In 2002, ORCO Group acquired the building and fully restored it back to its original baroque design, and turned it into a boutique hotel. The boutique hotel quickly became the most popular hotel in Prague. In 2021, the charming boutique hotel was rebranded to The Mozart to pay tribute to the rich history.
Events + The Courtyard
The courtyards make for the perfect event space. I could picture a gorgeous wedding here, perfect for the timeless bride. The Mozart Prague hosts many events and gatherings. Whether you are looking for that perfect space for a wedding, cocktail gathering, or meeting space The Mozart is your go-to venue. For all event inquires visit The Mozart event page.
The Mozart Prague Rooms
We had the luxury of staying in one of The Mozart’s most elite suites with views of the Prague Castle and river. The room was gorgeous with a glass chandelier, king-size bed, suede couch, and glass vanity. Three large windows opened up to the panoramic view of the city and river. The king bed was comfortable and soft. The space was large and came equipped with a stocked fridge and espresso machine. My favorite part of the room was the large windows with a gorgeous view of the water and city.
Amenities
The attention to detail and luxury amenities made our stay at The Mozart Prague that much more exceptional. In the suites, you will find marble stone bathrooms, a smart TV, air-conditioning, high-speed wifi, and an espresso machine. The smart TV had a screen sharing feature which was very nice for when streaming a show from the USA. Two white fluffy robes were found in the armoire, which was the perfect snuggly fit after a warm soak in the large bath. There was also a wall adapter which became very handy to charge electronics.
Breakfast
Breakfast was included in our stay and it was a great start to our morning. We had the options of al la carte and buffet items. The buffet offered a cheese platter, baked goods, charcuterie, yogurt parfaits, salmon, and juice. The yogurt parfaits were my favorite with plain Greek yogurt and homemade granola garnished on top. The Mozart Prague offers a truly amazing buffet breakfast!
