Amari Phuket Hotel Review
Location
Amari Phuket is located on the south side of the popular Patong Beach in Phuket, Thailand. The resort is built on a hillside overlooking the blue waters of the Andaman Sea. This secluded area is the perfect luxurious oasis that offers sea views throughout. Wanting to explore the city of Patong, no problem. Amari offers a free shuttle to Patong Beach and from there you can go parasailing, jet skiing, or walk down the busy Bangla Road.
The Concept
Amari Phuket has done an amazing job making their property feel exclusive, special, and welcoming. Their “home-from-home” concept integrates warm cozy accents with modern Thai design. The organic touches of wood décor makes you feel like you are in Thailand. Their open-air lobby is filled with neutral colors and invites you in with a framed view of the turquoise blue waters. Let’s catch one of the many Amari tuktuks and take a ride to the exclusive hillside villas!
The Rooms & Amenities
As you walk in your eyes immediately go to the floor to ceiling windows with ocean views. The natural light floods the space and brings a sense of open freshness. Amari Phuket has truly perfected the comfort aspect. The plush mattress engulfs every curve of your body, making it fell like you are sleeping on a cloud.
They even offer a pillow menu, which is one thing I have never seen in a hotel. You can choose from seven different pillows! It is small details like this that makes you really feel at home. The amenities are endless with three pools, two gyms, weekly activities, a kids club, and the Breeze Spa.
The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is a reserved area for guests that have booked a “Club Suite”. The Clubhouse was one of our favorite areas at the Amari Phuket. The top-notch service and stunning views was everything we had hoped for and more. Their infinity pool overlooks the blue waters and offers a refreshing plunge. Each morning we got our sweat on at the exclusive FIT Centre and then joined for a delicious a la carte breakfast. I highly recommend booking a Club Suite so you too, can enjoy these amazing amenities at the Amari Phuket.
The Amari Phuket Clubhouse is a breath of fresh air and a great place to pamper yourself in a fresh and healthy environment.
Dining
Amari Phuket offers a great spread of dining options. Rim Talay serves a variety of food with authentic Phuketian food being one of their signatures. La Gritta is an upscale seaside Italian restaurant and is the number one place for a romantic night out. Chef Patrizia Battolu, runs the show cooking up some delicious Italian seaside dishes. The Discovery Menu is the perfect tasting menu to try a little bit of everything! One of my favorite bites of the night was the Spigola Ai Carciofi; a pan fried local seabass with an delicious white wine sauce!
