Looking for a great dining experience for your next special occasion or date night, look no further than Bavettes. Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar is an upscale non-traditional restaurant dishing out show-stopping entrees and desserts. Bavette’s originated in Chicago and since then it has doubled and made its way to the competitive Las Vegas Strip restaurant scene. A French influence makes this Las Vegas steakhouse unique and one of a kind.

This Las Vegas steakhouse has exquisite service, from when are greeted at the door, to leaving your table. Everyone along the way is professional and helpful. There is an optional coat check in the lounge area. It is little things like this that make your experience feel that much richer and special.


Aesthetics

This 1920s themed restaurant gives you a speakeasy feel when walking in. Mood lighting, red velvet banquettes, and Amora lamps set the mood and immerse you into a fancy elegant dining experience. Waiters and waitresses fit the venue with their suits and exquisite service.


Bavette’s Menu

Bavette’s offers steakhouse favorites that have a French twist. Their menu has great variety and something for everyone to enjoy. Some of the highlights on the menu include a Seafood Tower, Chicago Cut Ribeye Steak, and Baked Goat Cheese. All steaks are USDA Prime meats and are cooked to perfection. The ribeye steaks have that exquisite char on the outside and a juicy inside with a butter coating. Save some room for dessert because they are all made in-house and are absolutely delicious!

The international wine list offers many European varietals that will complete your steakhouse meal. Not a fan of wine, then check out their classic cocktail and beer list.

Price – $$$$

This is not a cheap restaurant by any means, but you are in Las Vegas and you might as well treat yourself. You can expect to pay $100 – $200 per person depending on wine/cocktail selection. Bavette’s dining experience is well worth the price!


What I Ordered

2018 Malbec – $16

This 2018 Malbec from Argentina is a full-body red with robust flavor. A dark fruit-forward plum note is prominent along with an aged smokiness. This red wine paired well with the acidic and tangy Baked Goat Cheese appetizer.


Baked Goat Cheese (Circa 1992) – $17.95

The Baked Goat Cheese appetizer is to die for with tangy goat cheese baked inside a cast-iron platter with homemade marinara sauce. The Circa 1992 goat cheese is ooey-gooey and adds an earthy flavor to this dish. The marinara sauce is made in-house and cradles the baked cheese just perfectly. If the goat cheese was not enough this Las Vegas steakhouse adds even more cheese with a sprinkle of parmesan. The parmesan is a great salty addition to the acidic and tart cast iron bake. Four large slices of warm garlic bread are served on the side, giving this dish an interactive experience.

The Best Bite: Garlic bread smeared with warm baked goat cheese topped with a dollop of chunky marinara sauce.


Short Rib Stroganoff – $35.95

For tonight’s Las Vegas steakhouse entrée, we chose the Short Rib Stroganoff. A bed of creamy al dente fettuccine lays at the bottom of an oval dish. The pasta is topped with tender short rib and button mushrooms. The flavor of button mushrooms is intensified when they are cooked. These sautéed whole button mushrooms did not disappoint. They bursted with flavor and added great texture to this rich dish. A pile of decadent beef short rib is placed on top. The decadent short rib bites were falling apart and melted in your mouth.
