Incline Village is located on the northern shore of Lake Tahoe, in Nevada. Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada mountain range, it offers easy access to the area’s top attractions while providing a serene retreat for guests seeking tranquility.
This is one of Incline Village’s most updated boutique hotels while being immersed by the dense pine tree forest, it truly makes you feel like you are escaping your busy life to somewhere pure, adventurous, and serene.
We chose to visit during the winter months which is ideal if you love skiing, snowshoeing and other cold weather activities. Diamond Peak Ski Resort is a 5 minute drive from the lodge with Mount Rose Ski Resort being just a bit further. For some larger resort skiing Northstar and Palisade Tahoe are an easy drive as well.

The Rooms & Amenities
Each room is a sanctuary of comfort, featuring plush bedding, spacious layouts, and breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty. The small touches like the heavy mountain pattern blanket to the fun black and white wallpaper in the bathroom, nods to the comforts of your own home while casually whispering your in the mountains.
Incline lodge offers a variety of rooms including standard rooms, alpine views, and suites. A good variety to fit one’s budget and desires. I highly recommend requesting a room with a balcony facing the dense forest behind. Just picture having your morning coffee with birds chirping and a view full of nature.
The lodge offers complimentary coffee in the mornings in the lounge along with one complimentary glass of wine from 5-7pm. Little things like this opened conversations with people we would have never met and enjoyed getting to know. We also had the chance to meet the staff, who were friendly and outgoing, initiating conversations to genuinely connect with us.
Incline Lodge is more than just a place to stay – it’s a destination where dreams come to life in the mountains whether that’s having the best powder day or diving into relaxation to escape your busy day to day life. The blissful setting, impeccable service, and warming amenities, really does capture the essence of mountain charm and allows guests to fully enjoy the surroundings for what they take it.
